2011 Reserve ChardonnayHand picked in the cool of the morning. Citrus and pear superimpose a mealy complexity and subtle spicey vanilla aromas. A superb mid-palate with intense flavours, curtailed by a fine line of natural acidity and a dry mineral finish. 96 points: James Halliday 2015 Wine Companion. Best of Best by Variety More Detail»

5 Stars, 93 Points for 2014 Sauvignon Blanc: James Halliday’s Feb/March 2015 Wine Companion Magazine
Fully reflects the cool climate of Karridale in the southernmost part of Margaret River; the bouquet is fragrant, with some wild herb/wild flower aromas, the palate adding lemon to the herbal base, leaving the finish crisp and clear.
Hamelin Bay’s 2012 Reserve Chardonnay and 2011 Rampant Red have been included in James Halliday’s Top 100 Wines of 2014.
The 2012 Reserve Chardonnay received a massive 97 points and the 2011 Rampant Red a very impressive 93 points. Both wines are excellent value for money.
Congratulations to Jacqui Hodby who joined our cellar club and won the draw to receive 2 bottles of Hamelin Bay Wines.
