Hi all, results from the 2011 Margaret River Wine Show were released this morning just as the bushfire is contained.
Hamelin Bay received 2 gold, 1 silver and 6 bronze medals.
Gold medals were awarded to the 2011 Hamelin Bay Sauvignon Blanc and 2011 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc with the Sauvignon Blanc being the best wine in its class for single vineyard Sauvignon Blancs.
A silver was awarded to the 2009 Mainbreak Shiraz.
Bronze medals to the Hamelin Bay 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2009 Shiraz, 2011 Rose, 2009 Merlot, 2009 Chardonnay, 2011 Rampant White, Mainbreak 2009 Cabernet Merlot.
