Citrus lemon zest and freshly cut grass aromas are balanced with kiwi fruit and vanilla bean,with a mineral core so typical for hamelin bay whites. An appealing complexity derived from barrel fermentation and solids inclusion in fermentation affords a cedary and malty overtone showing similarieties with the 2003 vintage.Palate:
The palate is of medium weight with an attractive elegance. The juicy mid palate weight and punch from the sauvignon contrasts and balances the austere lemon acidity and tight restrined length of the semillon.Source:
