    Hamelin Bay`s 2003 Chardonnay shows a pale straw yellow hue.
  • Bouquet:

    Aromas of wet slate and citrus mineral are complemented by hints of pear, butterscotch and a mealy nuttiness.
  • Palate:

    The palate is a medium to full weight with upfront to middle orientation, which will extend into the back palate with maturity. The oak shows more restraint than previous years, giving a seamless structure.
