    A compote` of dark black fruits infused with green olive and white spice, with some complexing leathery development.

    Moderate to full weight and a moderate to long length with fine black choclatey tannins- drinking very well now.

  • Vintage Characteristics:

    Mild dry vintage.
  • Vinification:

    Fermented in a combination of static and open fermenters, pressed off at dryness or left on skins for 6 days. The open fermenter had 50% whole bunches included to add carbonic character.
  • Cellaring Potential:

    Suggested Best 2004 to 2007;
  • Oak Treatment:

    50% new French oak and 10% new American oak.
  • Serving Suggestion:

    Enjoy with rare rib eye fillet and garlic roasted vegetables.
